The time it will take to upload a file can be calculated from this formula:

T = 1024S/(3600V)

Where S is the file size in megabytes, V is the upload speed in kilobytes per second, and T is the total time in hours. For example if the file size is 1000 MB and the upload speed is 100KB/s, then

(1024x1000)/(100x3600) = 2.84 hours.
